Wool Throw - Gray Herringbone

265.00

Produced from wool raised on our Charlotte, Vermont pastures, this gray on white herringbone throw is a classic design that adds warmth to any room.

Our flock of Icelandic, Romney, and Border Leicester sheep grow full fleeces as they are rotationally grazed throughout the season. They are sheared twice a year and the wool is washed and spun at the Green Mountain Spinnery, a cooperatively-owned business in Putney, Vermont. The single-ply yarn is meticulously woven by a talented woman in rural Massachusetts, who uses 1940s looms to create these enduring throws.
