Wool Throw - Brown Herringbone

265.00

Produced from wool raised on our Charlotte, Vermont pastures, this dark brown on white herringbone throw is a warm, classic blanket.

Our flock of Icelandic, Romney, and Border Leicester sheep grow full fleeces as they are rotationally grazed throughout the season. They are sheared twice a year and the wool is washed and spun at the Green Mountain Spinnery, a cooperatively-owned business in Putney, Vermont. The single-ply yarn is meticulously woven by a talented woman in rural Massachusetts, who uses 1940s looms to create these enduring throws.

Approximate weight - 2.5 lbs.
